A teenager has been assaulted in an alleged road rage incident at Norman Gardens.
Around 4pm on March 11, the 19-year-old man was driving in a white Mitsubishi Triton utility on Yeppoon Road when a silver Nissan Patrol has overtaken him causing the 19-year-old man to stop his vehicle.
A man, described as Caucasian, in his late 60’s, proportionate build, no tattoos, with a beard and wearing a black shirt, exited the Nissan Patrol and approached the victim before allegedly assaulting him and getting back in the vehicle and driving away in an eastbound direction.
The 19-year-old Norman Gardens man sustained minor injuries.
Police are appealing to anyone with information, or anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision in the area around that time, to contact them.
