A 17-year-old boy’s been charged, after allegedly lunging at a man with a knife at a North Rockhampton Shopping Centre.
Police say the teen was involved in an argument with a man and woman in the centre’s carpark last Saturday (August 12) at around 10.40am.
It’s alleged the teen armed himself with a knife before lunging at the man, both the man and the woman escaped uninjured.

Police attended the shopping centre where they arrested a teenager and seized a knife.
A 17-year-old Koongal boy has now been charged with one count of going armed so as to cause fear.
He’s been remanded in custody and will appear in Rockhampton Childrens Court at a later date.
