Too many local drivers are still ignoring the fatal five as the first week of school holidays continues.
Capricornia District road stats for the past week show 309 speeders were caught and more than 100 drivers had alcohol or drugs in their system.
Among those were 28 drink drivers and a whopping 73 drug drivers.
There were five high range speeding offences, including two drivers clocked going 157km/h and 150km/h in 100 zones at Gracemere and Bororen.
The other three were all recorded on Panorama Drive at Inverness, with those three drivers recorded doing 120km/h in a 70 zone.
Police also handed out 10 fines for using mobile phones and 19 for seat belt offences.
