Man dies in two-car crash at Rosslyn

A man has died following a two vehicle crash at Rosslyn this afternoon.

Preliminary investigations indicate about 12.40pm a truck and car collided along the Scenic Highway near Rosslyn Street.

The driver of the car, a man aged in his 30s, suffered critical injuries and died at the scene.

A second man suffered chest and abdominal injuries and was airlifted to Rockhampton Hospital in a serious condition.

A man and a woman were taken to Capricorn Coast Hospital in stable conditions.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision of the incident to come forward.

Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
