The Capras are gearing up for the first round of QRL finals this Sunday, as they find themselves back on top after a rough few years.
The team sits 5th on the ladder at the end of the regular season, and will verse Northern Pride in a home game at Browne Park this weekend.
Coach Lionel Harbin says spirits are high and he expecting a big turnout.
“We’ve got a really good supporter base up here in the region and it comes from all over Central Queensland, so I don’t think this weekend will be any different.
“We are expecting a big crowd and hoping they’ll get behind the boys,” he says.
“It’s been a while since the club has been in a situation where we’ve been playing finals football and we are just really excited, we have had a great season to date.”
Central Queensland won against Pride 34 – 10, when the sides last butted heads in May.
This Sunday’s game kicks of at Browne Park at 2.15pm
