Investigations are underway after a man fell to his death in Rockhampton.
Police were called to an Alma Street residence following reports of an unknown person trespassing around 9pm Saturday.
Upon arrival, officers located a 37-year-old man standing on a second-floor balcony railing and attempted to negotiate with the man.

Following these attempts, the man fell from the balcony and suffered serious injuries.
He was transported to Rockhampton Hospital for treatment, however died due to his injuries.
The State Coroner has been advised, and the Ethical Standards Command is investigating.
The investigation is subject to independent oversight by the Crime and Corruption Commission.
