Queensland Parks and Wildlife is investigating a crocodile sighting at the Barney Point Esplanade.
The report was received yesterday morning, prompting signs to be placed in the area.
The warnings will be up for at least a week, with locals urged to be cautious in and around the water.

It’s the first sighting in the Gladstone region this year.
