Two men are facing weapon and drug charges after a search of a South Gladstone home.
Officers allegedly located several drug utensils, and quantities of GHB and methylamphetamine at the Agnes Street home around 4pm on Monday, May 27.
It’s also alleged police found several firearms, including a handgun, rifle, homemade firearm, a knife, several rounds of ammo, and a number of alleged stolen registration plates.
A 32-year-old Barney Point man was charged with two counts of stealing and one count each of unlawful possession of a weapon, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing explosives, possessing utensils and wilful damage.
A 25-year-old South Gladstone was charged with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon and one count each of possessing explosives, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing utensils, driving unlicensed and possession of suspected stolen property.
Both men have been remanded in custody and are expected to reappear at Gladstone Magistrates Court on June 25.
