A 28-year-old woman has been killed in a traffic incident on the Bruce Highway south of Rockhampton.
Preliminary inquiries indicate at 5.15pm yesterday, a gold Toyota Hilux utility was travelling north at Bajool, near the intersection at Sisalana Road when an incident occurred.
Queensland Ambulance and Emergency Service says multiple crews were called to the scene of a vehicle and pedestrian incident.

The passenger of the vehicle, a Gladstone woman, died at the scene.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident, has relevant vision or further information to contact police.
The Forensic Crash Unit investigating.
