A 20-year-old man has been charged following a physical altercation between three people at a Gladstone carpark.
It’s alleged at around 7.30pm on Saturday one of the men was assaulted and fell to the ground at a Dawson Road carpark at Gladstone West.
The 25-year-old Bellbird Park man was taken to Gladstone Hospital with serious head injuries, before being airlifted to Brisbane for treatment.

Following investigations, detectives have arrested a 20-year-old Kin Kora man at Gladstone Central and he has since been charged with grievous bodily harm.
He was refused police bail and is due to appear in Gladstone Magistrates Court today.
Police continue to appeal for anyone with information or vision of the incident, to come forward.
