A serious two-car crash near Gladstone has left seven people in hospital, including a 6-month-old baby.
Just before 11am yesterday, a Mazda BT-50 and a Toyota Hilux collided on the Bruce Highway at Bororen.
The driver of the Mazda, a 45-year-old Western Australia man, and the driver of the Toyota, a 31-year-old Emerald man, both sustained critical injuries and were airlifted to hospital.
Paramedics also transported a 31-year-old woman, three boys aged 4, 7 and 10, as well as a 6-month-old baby girl to hospital as a precaution.
The highway was closed while the Forensic Crash Unit investigated.
Any witnesses or anyone with dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
