A man has escaped with minor injuries after his Mitsubishi Lancer hit a truck north of Rockhampton.
Police say the crash happened on the Bruce Highway at St Lawrence around 9:30pm Saturday.
The driver and sole occupant of the Mitsubishi, a 42-year-old Russell Island man, was transported in a stable condition to Mackay Base Hospital.

While the truck driver, a 51-year-old Innisfail man, was not physically injured.
Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed or has dashcam footage of the incident, or the vehicles driving on the Bruce Highway anywhere between Rockhampton and St Lawrence prior to the crash, to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
