A 28-year-old man’s allegedly attacked a security guard and tried to bite police officers, following an incident in Gladstone.
Police allege the O’Connell man assaulted a 35-year-old security officer, after he was refused entry to a Goondoon Street venue around 2am last Sunday, September 3.
The 28-year-old man was arrested, and it will be further alleged while in custody the man attempted to bite multiple officers.

He has since been charged with one count of common assault, three counts of assault police, one count of obstruct police and one count of refused entry to licensed premises.
The man has been granted bail and is set to appear in the Gladstone Magistrates Court on September 19.
